more visitors.

3 weeks ago, today, we had our last and final group of visitors come to see what we are up to over here in australia.  jim's parents, tom and anne, were here for close to 3 weeks.  we were sorry to see them go on wednesday of this week, but we had such an amazing time with them.  i will, of course, chronicle their visit over the next several blog posts.

on their first day here, we all headed to airlie beach to show tom and anne around and shop the market they hold in airlie every saturday.  usually, when jim and i are in airlie, we are running through the town to get to a tour of some sort so it was really nice to just enjoy the area for what it is.  and it. is. beautiful.

the market was great!  they had everything from food vendors to produce to crafts to t-shirts.  it was a lot of fun and we shopped 'til we dropped.

they even had live music and this girl was good.  loved it.

after the market, we couldn't leave the area without stopping by to visit with bevan, again.  you may or may not remember when we visited him with my parents as well.  bevan was such a great host and made us coffee with his super fancy coffee machine... delish!

we ended the day with fish & chips (i had prawns & chips) from a place called fish devine.  it was a nice and relaxing day.
